Hamer Dodds will discuss his experience as a scientist and artist and introduce some of his recent work at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh and the Wolfson College, Oxford. In his work he examines flows and relationships in the organic world, how science is visualised and what rules pertain to these visualisations.

Art Collective artsci series - first event
Art Collective has its first 'artsci' series event at the Edinburgh College of Art this afternoon (Mon 16th Mar)
The event is open to anyone and will be followed by a talk by conceptual artist, Joseph Kosuth, at the National Gallery (starting at 6).

Crossing The Line - UG chemist's art exhibition

Crossing the Line is a collection of recent work by undergraduate chemistry student Laura Cocker. It is a combination of installation, photography and text exploring the nature and isolation of scientific knowledge and touching upon the artist's relationship with the invisible realm which the molecular state occupies.
The artworks will be displayed in the foyer of the Joseph Black chemistry building... After the event there will be an Edinburgh Interdisciplinary Discussions Art/Science discussion at the Bowery
